Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and lead the overall commodity strategy for Electrical, Electronics & Mechanical commodities, still developing functional knowledge and skills.
- Manage projects in a matrix organization across the globe, including interacting with manufacturing personnel to understand unique supplier requirements of global supply chain business
- Partner with all GEV sites and lead the development & execution of sourcing strategies.
- Drive Sourcing initiatives including growing shared supplier spend, best cost country (BCC), productivity,



rationalization of supply base, sole source reduction, cycle reduction, on time delivery and quality improvements, lean & pull production, and cash flow improvement.
- Lead the evaluation and selection of current suppliers, development of existing suppliers, and overall supplier management.
- Put in place and Manage supplier contracts / supply agreements.
- Collaborate with Cross functional team to drive fulfilment activities and ensure on-time delivery.
- May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters.
