Position Summary

A leading healthcare institution in the Caribbean is seeking a compassionate and

experienced
Occupational Therapist
to join its multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. The

successful candidate will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to

patients across a variety of clinical settings, helping individuals regain independence and

improve their quality of life following illness, injury, or disability. Working collaboratively

with physicians, physiotherapists, speech therapists, nurses, and other healthcare

professionals, you will develop individualized treatment plans that support optimal patient

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial abilities to

determine functional limitations and rehabilitation needs.





• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based

on evidence-based practices.

• Assist patients in improving independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and

instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).

• Recommend, prescribe, and educate patients on the use of adaptive equipment

and assistive technologies.

• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to

coordinate comprehensive patient care.

• Monitor patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and maintain detailed

clinical documentation.

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home

exercise programs.• Ensure compliance with professional standards, healthcare regulations, and

infection prevention protocols.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and departmental

meetings.
