About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically competent
Tendering & Proposal Engineer
to join our team. The ideal candidate should be able to understand customer technical specifications for medium-voltage switchgear, prepare techno-commercial proposals, and manage the complete tender submission process while coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate responses.

Key Responsibilities
- Review customer enquiries, RFQs, and tender documents to understand technical and commercial requirements.
- Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and single-line diagrams related to medium-voltage switchgear.
- Prepare accurate techno-commercial quotations and proposals based on customer requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and sales teams to obtain technical inputs and costing.
- Ensure all tender documents, technical data sheets, compliance statements, and supporting documents are prepared and submitted within the specified deadlines.
- Prepare deviations, clarifications,



and technical compliance documents wherever applicable.
- Maintain records of submitted quotations, tenders, and proposal documentation.
- Follow up with customers regarding submitted quotations, clarifications, and tender status.
- Support the sales team during technical discussions and bid evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements throughout the proposal process.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in tendering, proposal engineering, or estimation in the electrical switchgear industry.
- Valuable understanding of medium-voltage switchgear products, electrical drawings, and technical specifications.
- Experience in preparing techno-commercial offers and handling tender documentation.
- Familiarity with tender portals and e-procurement systems is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
