About the Internship

Were looking for a curious, AI-native SEO/AEO/GEO Intern to help grow Recootys visibility across both traditional search engines and AI answer engines. Youll work on real content for a global SaaS product from day one, learning a skill set that most marketers in India havent caught up to yet. Perform well, and this converts into a full-time role after 3 months.

What Youll Do
- Support on-page SEO: meta tags, headings, internal linking, and content structure




- Conduct keyword research and identify content gaps against competitors
- Optimize blog content for AI citation: direct-answer openings, question-format headers, FAQ sections, and structured data
- Research how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews answer queries in the hiring and HR tech space, and find opportunities for Recooty to get cited
- Track rankings, AI mentions, and organic traffic using Google Search Console and Analytics
- Assist with internal linking audits and content refresh plans for existing blog posts
- Monitor SEO health: indexing issues, duplicate content, and technical fixes
- Compile weekly reports on whats working, whats not, and why

What Were Looking For
- Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals: on-page, off-page, and technical
- Genuine curiosity about AI search tools; you already use ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Gemini and notice how they cite sources
- Awareness of featured snippets, People
