About the Role
We are looking for experienced Networking Software Engineers to design and develop next-generation Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking solutions. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about protocol development, network operating systems, and high-performance software engineering.
As part of the engineering team, you will work on developing, enhancing, and optimizing networking features across enterprise and data center networking platforms while contributing to scalable and reliable networking solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocol features.
- Implement high-performance networking solutions using
C programming
on
Linux
platforms.
- Analyze, debug, and resolve complex networking software issues while improving system stability and performance.
- Develop scalable multi-threaded applications using socket programming.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate networking features across multiple network operating systems.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on networking technologies and best practices.
- Work closely with QA and support teams for feature validation, troubleshooting, and production issue resolution.
- Create and maintain technical design documents, architecture specifications, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–15 years of hands-on experience in
L2/L3 networking protocol development

- Robust programming expertise in

environments (
Mandatory
).
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocol implementation.
Hands-on experience with networking protocols such as:
Layer 2
- VLAN
- STP / RSTP / MSTP
