HLS-SJM Advisors India Private Limited is a Japanese-origin accounting and consulting firm providing comprehensive advisory, tax, accounting, and business consulting services to multinational corporations, with a robust focus on Japanese companies operating in India. We are looking for an experienced Transfer Pricing professional to establish and lead our Transfer Pricing practice in India.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the establishment and development of the Transfer Pricing (TP) practice in India.
- Design and implement Transfer Pricing policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Advise domestic and multinational clients on Indian and international Transfer Pricing regulations.
- Prepare and review Transfer Pricing documentation, including Local File, Master File, benchmarking studies, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR), where applicable.
- Conduct functional, asset, and risk (FAR) analyses and economic benchmarking studies.
- Manage Transfer Pricing audits, assessments, litigation support, and APA/MAP assignments.




- Provide strategic advisory on cross-border transactions, business restructuring, and intercompany pricing models.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for business development.
- Collaborate with the Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, Accounting, and Advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop the Transfer Pricing team as the practice grows.
- Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring timely delivery and high-quality work.
- Stay updated with changes in Indian TP regulations, OECD Guidelines, and international tax developments.

Required Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in Transfer Pricing.
- Prior experience with a Big 4 or a reputed consulting firm is highly preferred.
- Proven expertise in Transfer Pricing documentation, benchmarking, advisory, and litigation support.
