Role Overview

NR Consulting is looking for a
Software Engineer in Test
to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for banking and financial services applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in test automation, API testing, functional validation, and quality engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and backend applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and API testing.
- Build and improve automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, or similar.
- Validate banking-related workflows such as payments, transactions, customer data, account processes, or reporting.
- Identify, report, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, DevOps, product, and business teams.
- Support test execution, release validation, and production issue analysis.

Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in software testing or test automation.




- Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
- Good knowledge of Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript for automation.
- Strong understanding of API testing, test case design, defect tracking, and QA processes.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, Git, CI/CD, and test management tools.
- Positive analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in banking, fintech, payments, lending, or financial services domain.
- Knowledge of security testing basics, data validation, SQL, and compliance-driven testing.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, Docker, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps will be an advantage.
