Role & responsibilities : -
- Installation & Commissioning of induction heating machines and associated control systems at customer sites.
- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Electrical & Electronic Troubleshooting (inverters, IGBTs, PLCs, HMIs, power supplies, sensors, and cooling systems).
- Calibration & Testing of equipment to meet customer and quality standards.
- Customer Training on operation, safety, and basic troubleshooting.
- Preparation of Service Reports, Installation Certificates, and Maintenance Logs.
- Coordination with Design, Production, and Sales Teams for technical feedback and improvement suggestions.
- Support in spare parts identification and replacement.
- Travel (Domestic & International) as per service assignment requirements.
Key Skills : -
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Electrical/Electronic Systems and Industrial Automation.
- Experience in PLC Programming & HMI Interface (Siemens/Mitsubishi / Allen-Bradley preferred).
- Familiarity with power electronics components such as IGBTs, SCRs, transformers, and rectifiers.
- Basic understanding of mechanical assemblies and alignment.
- Knowledge of induction heating process (preferred but not mandatory).
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Valuable time management and ability to handle multiple service calls.
- Proactive, disciplined, and customer-focused mindset.
Educational Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelors Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics Engineering.
- Additional certification in PLC / Automation / Power Electronics is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel extensively (5070% of the time).
