Role Description

The VP – Finance & Accounts is a full-time,
on-site leadership role based in Abroad
, responsible for overseeing all financial operations and reporting for the organization. The role involves leading financial planning and budgeting cycles, monitoring cash flows, and ensuring accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports. The VP will supervise accounting processes, maintain internal controls, and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies. Day-to-day activities include reviewing financial performance, guiding cost optimization initiatives, supporting strategic business decisions with data-driven insights, and collaborating with leadership and external partners such as auditors and banks. The position also requires mentoring the finance team, implementing process improvements, and supporting long-term growth and risk management.

Qualifications




- Candidates should possess strong Finance knowledge with practical experience in Financial Planning and long-term budgeting.
- Candidates should possess expertise in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and Financial Reporting in compliance with applicable standards.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and support strategic decision-making.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in accounting principles, taxation basics, and internal control practices.
- Relevant academic qualification such as a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a qualified certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within consulting, services, or similar industries.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively on-site in Kochi.
