Reporting To: Operations Manager / Unit Head
Job Summary
The Store In charge is responsible for the effective management of all store operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining inventory of food, beverages, packaging materials, engineering spares, housekeeping items, and other operational supplies. The role ensures accurate inventory records, timely availability of materials, compliance with food safety standards, and adherence to company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper storage of all items following FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) principles where applicable.
- Maintain accurate stock records in physical registers and inventory management systems.
- Issue materials to departments only against approved requisitions.
- Conduct daily, weekly,



and monthly stock verification and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with the Purchase Department for timely replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage conditions for dry, chilled, and frozen items as per food safety and HACCP requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store area.
- Prepare inventory reports, stock movement reports, variance reports, and monthly closing reports.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Purchase, Engineering, and Finance departments for smooth material flow.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, damaged, or expired stock and report to management.
- Ensure proper documentation of Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), Stock Transfer Notes (STN), Issue Slips, and Return Notes.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining complete and accurate documentation.
