We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor who is passionate about storytelling and creating engaging short-form and long-form content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-quality videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, YouTube, and other social media platforms.
- Create engaging, fast-paced edits with smooth transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound design, and visual effects.
- Color correct and color grade footage to maintain a premium look.
- Sync audio, music, and voiceovers professionally.
- Design engaging text animations and captions.
- Organize and manage project files efficiently.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with the content strategy and production teams.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends, editing styles, and platform algorithms.
- Incorporate client feedback and revisions professionally.
- Ensure brand consistency across all video content.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Strong portfolio showcasing social media content and commercial edits.
- Proficiency in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop (basic)
- Adobe Audition (preferred)
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Experience creating viral short-form content.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience editing podcasts and interview-style videos.
- Basic knowledge of photography and videography.
- Understanding of social media marketing and content strategy.
- Experience with YouTube optimization and thumbnail design.
- Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
