Job Summary

Experienced Software Test Engineer with expertise in Functional Testing, Test Automation, System Validation, and End-to-End Quality Assurance of enterprise and industrial software applications. Solid experience in designing test strategies, executing complex testing cycles, automating regression suites, and collaborating with cross-functional global teams within Agile environments. Proven ability to ensure software quality through comprehensive manual and automated testing while driving continuous process improvements and defect prevention initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Test Planning & Strategy
- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies aligned with business and product requirements.
- Analyze functional specifications, user stories, and technical requirements to identify test scope and coverage.
- Prepare test estimations, test plans, test scenarios, and execution timelines.




- Participate in requirement reviews and provide quality-focused feedback during early stages of SDLC.

Functional & System Testing
- Perform Functional, System, Integration, GUI, End-to-End, Smoke, Sanity, Regression, and Release Testing.
- Validate application workflows to ensure compliance with business and technical requirements.
- Execute test cases across multiple environments, releases, and configurations.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify hidden defects and usability issues.

Test Automation
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using:
- Selenium WebDriver
- Ruby
- Cucumber (BDD)
- Gherkin
- Create reusable automation scripts for regression and functional testing.
- Optimize automated test execution to improve release quality and testing efficiency.
- Integrate automated testing practices within CI/CD pipelines.

Defect Management & Quality Assurance
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using JIRA.
- Perform root cause
