Valu Ventures is a bootstrapped venture studio building small, profitable online businesses from Mumbai — in the spirit of operators like Pieter Levels (

) and Greg Isenberg (Late Checkout). No outside funding, no VCs, no chasing unicorns. We will make money by shipping products and services that customers actually pay for, building in public as we go.
We will launch 2 recent businesses every quarter, review each one at the 6-month mark, and decide whether to double down or kill it. We focus on small, simple, scalable online businesses — no physical stores, no heavy capital, no shipping inventory. The studio is founded and run by
Nakul Pednekar
, based in Sydney and originally from Mumbai. You’ll work from an office with the founding team 2-3 times a week and in person with Nakul 3-4 times a year.
You'll be one of the first three hires. You'll work directly with the founder, and you'll have real ownership of how the studio actually runs from day one.
The role
You'll lead all content output for the studio across all channels. That includes the studio's own brand,
the founder's personal brand, and content for the businesses we launch each quarter. You'll write, film, edit, and ship — and you'll learn to do all of it at studio quality, on a weekly cadence. We're building in public, so your work is the front door of the entire studio.

What you'll do
- Plan, shoot, and edit short-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) on a weekly cadence
- Write long-form content for Substack, Medium and LinkedIn — studio updates, build-in-public posts, founder essays
- Run the studio's IG/TikTok/YouTube channels end-to-end: hooks, thumbnails, captions, posti
