About the Role We are seeking an experienced Design Release Engineer to lead the design, development, validation, and release of Visibility, Horn, Siren, and Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) components for automotive programs. The role involves managing component development from concept through production launch, ensuring compliance with performance, quality, cost, timing, manufacturing, safety, and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in automotive visibility and warning systems.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, validation, and release of Visibility, Horn,



Siren, and AVAS systems.
- Manage development activities for ORVM, IRVM, Wiper, Washer, Horn, Siren, and AVAS components throughout the product lifecycle.
- Ensure component and system development is aligned with quality, performance, timing, weight, cost, and manufacturing targets.
- Coordinate vehicle build activities, engineering changes, prototype builds, and production releases.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Design, CAE, Validation, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Quality, Packaging, Electrical, Software, and Supplier teams.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations, homologation requirements, and regional standards for visibility and warning systems.
- Support benchmarking and implementation of latest technologies and innovations related to mirrors, visibility systems, horns, sirens, and AVAS.
