The Production Engineer will be responsible for daily production planning, manpower coordination, process monitoring, quality coordination, and timely completion of production targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute daily production activities.
- Coordinate with store for raw material availability.
- Allocate work to production team as per priority.
- Monitor production output, quality, wastage, and delays.
- Ensure work is completed as per drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Coordinate with quality team for inspection and approval.
- Maintain production reports, job cards, and pending work status.
- Improve productivity, process flow, and machine utilization.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and discipline on the shop floor.
Required Skills
- Technical knowledge of fabrication/manufacturing process.
- Good planning and team coordination skills.
- Ability to read drawings and understand specifications.
- Problem-solving and production follow-up ability.
Experience
2 to 5 years in production, fabrication, cable tray, electrical, sheet metal, or engineering manufacturing industry.
