Export Logistics Management
- Plan and manage international shipments from factory to customer destination.
- Coordinate container bookings with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
- Ensure timely despatch of export orders according to customer schedules.
- Optimize container utilization and freight costs.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve logistics issues or delays.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers (CHA), transporters, and warehouse teams.
- Coordinate with production, planning, and sales teams to ensure shipment readiness.
- Communicate shipment schedules and updates to overseas customers and distributors.
- Resolve shipment discrepancies, customs issues, and logistics-related customer concerns.
Cost & Performance Management
- Negotiate freight rates and service contracts with logistics partners.
- Monitor logistics costs and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Evaluate carrier performance based on transit time, reliability, and service quality.
- Prepare logistics budgets and monitor adherence.
Inventory & Supply Chain
- Coordinate with factory teams to ensure timely container loading.
- Monitor inventory availability for export orders.
- Ensure effective loading plans to maximize container capacity and minimize damage during transit.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Track key logistics KPIs such as on-time shipment, freight cost, transit time, container utilization, and delivery performance.
- Prepare MIS reports for management.
- Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and export procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Business, Commerce, or a related field.
- Currently handling 50 shipments per month.
