Key Responsibilities
- Handle logistics planning and arrangements involving interactions with the 3rd party logistics provider (3PL) & customs house agents (CHAs).
- Implement and maintain a logistics network and shipment frequency for a specified geographical area, ensuring timely forwarding of spares to designated vessels
- Attend meetings with stakeholders to address the same
- Follow Procure to Pay process (PTP) for timely payments to vendors and handle invoices with discrepancies.
- Stakeholder management across technical organizations, different category teams, 3PL partners etc.
- Work closely with 3rd party logistics provider (3PL) for smooth follow-up on deliveries to warehouses and vessels.
- Ensure optimum utilization of vessel budgets.
- Ensure team stakeholders complies with SOPs, contract terms and conditions compliance, and international regulations.
- Follow the 4R Principle – Right price, Right Place, Right time and Right Quantities.
- Always Follow the Maersk’s carbon neutral initiative to minimize the carbon emission in our supply chains.
- Must have the sense of urgency to address all pressing matters with key stakeholders.
