Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated
Safety Officer
to ensure the effective implementation of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) practices across our project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining statutory compliance, conducting safety inspections, minimizing workplace hazards, and promoting a strong safety culture while ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures at project sites.
- Conduct routine safety inspections, hazard identification,



and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, company standards, and client requirements.
- Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
- Monitor high-risk activities and ensure compliance with Permit to Work (PTW) systems and safe work practices.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, permits, incident logs, and other HSE documentation.
- Coordinate with project teams to promote continuous improvement in workplace safety.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, statutory compliance, and workplace safety practices.
- Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation.
- Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) systems and emergency response procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office and safety documentation.
