Senior Engineer Quality (Supplier Inspection)

Location: Gurugram

It's a third party position

Role Overview

The company is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to inspect supplier-manufactured parts and ensure they meet quality standards before dispatch.

Key Responsibilities
- Visit supplier factories for quality inspections.
- Check fabricated, machined, cast, forged, and bought-out components.
- Verify dimensions as per drawings and GD&T.;
- Inspect welding, coating, fit-up, marking, and packaging.
- Review quality documents such as MTC, NDT reports, heat treatment, and calibration certificates.
- Prepare inspection reports and raise NCRs if defects are found.
- Follow up with suppliers for corrective actions (CAPA).




- Coordinate with engineering, sourcing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.

Required Qualification
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Inspection.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, welding, castings, and forgings.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Basic knowledge of NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, VT).
- Experience in supplier audits,inspections, RCA, and CAPA.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
