Optics & Allied Engg. Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Quality Control (QC) Engineer to ensure that all manufactured components and assemblies meet customer specifications and applicable quality standards. The ideal candidate should have experience in precision engineering, inspection techniques, quality systems, and root cause analysis, preferably in the aerospace, defense, or optical manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
- Inspect incoming raw materials, purchased components, and assemblies as per specifications.
- Verify supplier quality documents, material test certificates (MTCs), and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.
In-Process Quality Control (IPQC)
- Perform in-process inspections during machining, fabrication, assembly, and production.
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor critical process parameters and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Final Quality Inspection (FQC)
- Conduct final inspection of finished products before dispatch.
- Verify dimensional, visual, and functional requirements as per customer specifications.
- Ensure products conform to drawing requirements, GD&T;, and acceptance criteria.
Documentation & Quality Systems
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Maintain quality records in accordance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 requirements.
- Ensure calibration records of measuring instruments are up to date.
Root Cause Analysis & Continuous Improvement
- Investigate customer complaints and internal qualit
