Role Description
This is a full-time remote Reporter role focused on covering news, features, and stories related to PlayStation, its games, services, and community. The Reporter will research, pitch, and write timely news articles, in-depth features, and interviews that align with editorial priorities and brand standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring industry and company developments, verifying sources and information, and collaborating with editors to refine angles and narratives. The Reporter will also create multimedia content where needed,



such as incorporating images, video clips, or social media elements to enhance storytelling. The role requires regular communication with internal teams, adherence to deadlines, and consistent delivery of accurate, engaging content for digital platforms.

Qualifications
- Strong reporting skills, including researching stories, verifying information, and developing newsworthy angles.
- Excellent writing and news writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging articles for digital audiences.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to collaborate with editors, stakeholders, and sources in a remote workplace.
- Multimedia skills, such as working with images, video, and social media elements to support and enhance written content.
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
