About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled
Backend & DevOps Engineer
who is passionate about building scalable backend systems, designing reliable integrations, and managing cloud infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex integration challenges while also owning the deployment, monitoring, and reliability of production systems.

You will work closely with product, frontend, and customer implementation teams to integrate with a wide range of third-party ERP, CRM, accounting, and enterprise platforms while ensuring our infrastructure is secure, scalable, and highly available.

Key Responsibilities
Backend Development
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using
Node.js
.
- Build secure RESTful APIs and event-driven services.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries for both SQL and MongoDB.
- Develop highly reliable and maintainable backend architectures.
- Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.

Integrations




- Design and implement integrations with third-party platforms, including ERP, CRM, accounting, payment, logistics, and other enterprise systems.
- Build reliable data synchronization and transformation pipelines.
- Develop webhook-based, polling, and event-driven integrations.
- Troubleshoot integration issues across distributed systems.
- Work with authentication mechanisms including OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, SAML, and custom authentication methods.
- Create reusable integration frameworks and middleware components.

Messaging & Event Streaming
- Design and maintain event-driven architectures using:
- Apache Kafka
- RabbitMQ
- ActiveMQ
- Build resilient producers and consumers.
- Handle retries, dead-letter queues, ordering, and message reliability.
- Optimize message throughput and system performance.

DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily on
AWS
