Manager Corporate Accounting (Fixed Assets)

Job Purpose

The Manager – Corporate Accounting is responsible for managing Fixed Assets accounting, capitalization, depreciation accounting, general ledger reconciliations, and exception reporting. The role ensures accurate and timely accounting of fixed assets, compliance with Ind AS and statutory requirements, robust internal controls, audit support, and continuous process improvements through effective use of ERP systems and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Fixed Assets Accounting
- Process fixed asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, and related journal entries in the ERP system.
- Compute and account for depreciation in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and updated Fixed Assets Register (FAR).
- Perform regular General Ledger reconciliations and investigate exceptions.

Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare fixed asset schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting.




- Ensure compliance with Ind AS, Companies Act provisions, and internal accounting policies.
- Prepare detailed workings and schedules required for statutory audits and financial reporting.

Internal Controls & Documentation
- Ensure adequate internal controls are established and adhered to across fixed asset processes.
- Verify completeness and accuracy of capitalization documentation and approvals.
- Maintain proper records and audit trails for all fixed asset transactions.

Asset Verification & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate periodic physical verification of fixed assets with Administration, IT, and other business teams.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies identified during asset verification exercises.
- Ensure compliance with asset management policies and procedures.

Audit Support
- Assist and coordinate with statutory and internal auditors by providing required schedules, reconciliation
