ECM Talent is hiring a Solution Architect for an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) programme for a confidential global client in the rail/transport sector.
You'll gather use cases, write functional specs, and work directly with the development team to design and roll out the platform — covering architecture, roadmap prioritisation with the IDP product owner, and change management across releases.
What you'll do:
- Define scalable functional and technical architecture using IBM ELM (DOORS Next, EWM, ETM, GC)
- Lead design sessions for the IDP implementation
- Prioritise use cases jointly with the product owner
- Manage and consolidate changes against delivery timelines
Must have:
- Backstage experience
- IBM ELM suite (DOORS Next, EWM, ETM, GC)
- GitLab, including CI/CD
- Solid REST API design/consumption experience
- 10 years in a similar architect role
- Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- SDLC experience in an industrial context (safety/cyber a plus)
Nice to have:
- Python
- Collibra
- OSLC (Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration)
- Contract role, remote. Offshore (India) candidates preferred; nearshore Europe also considered for the right fit.
