Role Description
This is a full time, on-site Chemist role based in Thane. The Chemist will perform routine and specialized laboratory testing on textiles, dyes, chemicals, pigments, food samples, and related materials in accordance with international and local standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing samples, operating and maintaining analytical instruments, recording and interpreting test results, and supporting quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability. The role involves contributing to method development and optimization, assisting in research and development activities, and supporting compliance with global accreditations and customer specifications. The Chemist will collaborate with the laboratory team, follow safety protocols, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and documentation.




- Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, instrument handling, and adherence to safety and good laboratory practices.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control capabilities, including test validation, data accuracy checks, and compliance with established standards and procedures.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills for interpreting test data, troubleshooting results, and using relevant analytical techniques for textiles, chemicals, and food products.
- Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills to support method development, process improvement, and technical investigations.
- Familiarity with textile, chemical, testing standards
- Ability to document procedures and results clearly, work collaboratively in a team, and manage multiple tests with attention to detail and timelines.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and laboratory inform
