Introduction
As a Graduate SAP HANA CO Consultant, you will be part of the SAP Finance Controlling (CO) team responsible for implementing and supporting cost management, profitability analysis, and internal reporting processes within SAP S/4HANA. You will work closely with Finance and Operations teams to ensure accurate cost tracking, budgeting, and reporting in alignment with business objectives.
Your Role And Responsibilities
- Support implementation and rollout of SAP S/4HANA Controlling (CO) modules including:
- Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
- Internal Orders (IO)
- Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
- Product Costing (PC)
- Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
- Assist in requirement gathering, documentation, configuration, and unit testing of CO processes.
- Support integration between CO and other modules like FI, MM, SD, and PP.
- Participate in defining cost allocation, budgeting, and variance analysis processes.
- Support the setup of master data – cost centers, internal orders, activity types, and profit centers.
- Help in preparation of management reports and dashboards for decision-making.
- Assist during month-end closing activities such as cost allocations, settlement runs, and reconciliations.
- Learn and apply SAP best practices for management accounting and controlling processes.
- Participate in testing, user training, and go-live support.
Education
Required technical and professional expertise
- Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost & Works Accountant (ICWA)
- Optional: B.Com / M.Com with a solid background in cost accounting or management accounting
Preferred Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of SAP S/4HANA Controlling or SAP ECC CO modules.
- Strong conceptual knowledge of cost accounting, profitability analysis, and budgetary control.
- Awareness of integration between FI and CO modules.
- Understanding of cost elements, cost centers, internal orders, and product costing flow.
- Familiarity with Excel-based financial modeling and variance analysis.
