We are seeking an experienced Manager of Procurement and Contracts to join our team for a mixed-use development construction project. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing procurement processes and contract administration to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies for the mixed-use development project
- Prepare and review contract documents, including RFPs, RFQs, and tender packages
- Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate terms and conditions
- Manage the bidding process and coordinate with various stakeholders
- Monitor contract performance and ensure compliance with agreed terms
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement and contract-related activities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to address procurement and contract issues
- Assist in resolving disputes and managing change orders
- Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards
- Prepare regular reports on procurement and contract status for senior management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (BE Civil)
- Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in procurement and contract management, preferably in construction or real estate development
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and relevant laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in mixed-use development projects
- Skilled certification in procurement or contract management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent)
