Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced
IBM Netcool Developer
with strong expertise in
Python, Java, and Telecom OSS/Fault Management
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the
IBM Netcool Suite
, telecom alarm/event processing, OSS/NMS integrations, and Kubernetes-based deployments. Experience working with telecom vendors such as
Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, and ZTE
is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using
Python
and
Java
.
- Develop and support
telecom fault management
, alarm management, and event processing solutions.
- Build and maintain
microservices-based
applications and RESTful APIs.
- Integrate applications with telecom network elements, EMS/NMS, OSS platforms, and third-party systems.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications on
Kubernetes
, preferably
Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
.
- Develop integrations using telecom-standard protocols and interfaces.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to software development best practices.




- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and scalable telecom solutions.

Required Skills
- Solid hands-on experience in
Python
development.
- Good programming knowledge of
Java
.
- Hands-on experience with
IBM Netcool Probes
and the
IBM Netcool Suite
.
- Experience designing and developing
microservices
.
- Strong understanding of
telecom fault management
, alarm/event processing, and OSS/NMS environments.
- Hands-on experience with
Kubernetes
(GKE preferred),
Docker
, and containerized deployments.
- Experience developing and consuming
REST APIs
.
- Strong knowledge of
distributed systems
and enterprise application development.
- Experience with
Git
,
CI/CD pipelines
, and DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Telecom Domain Expertise
- Hands-on experience with telecom protocols, including:
- CORBA
- SNMP
- REST APIs
- ASCII-based interfaces
- Good understanding of
OS
