Job Description
As a Fund Accounting Associate
, you will be responsible for the accurate calculation of
Net Asset Value (NAV)
, preparation of
financial statements
, and maintenance of investment fund accounting records. You will ensure daily, monthly, and quarterly fund reporting complies with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls while supporting portfolio valuation, reconciliations, and investor reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with operations, compliance, and investment teams to deliver timely and accurate financial information.

Mumbai, Maharashtra (Hybrid – Work from Office & Remote)
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate, review, and validate Daily/Periodic
NAV
for investment funds.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual
financial statements
in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP, where applicable).
- Perform cash, bank, portfolio, and General Ledger (GL) reconciliations.
- Record investment transactions, accruals, management fees, performance fees, expenses, and corporate actions.
- Review portfolio valuations and ensure accurate pricing of fund assets.
- Generate investor reports, capital statements, and financial disclosures.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation and audit trails.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting policies, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with operations, finance, compliance, and technology teams to improve fund accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
- Identify and resolve NAV breaks, reconciliation differences, and valuation exceptions in a timely manner.
