Role & responsibilities
- Perform structural durability, static, and NVH simulations for Instrument Panel (IP/Dashboard) and plastic trim components.
- Execute CAE load cases including Modal Analysis, Shake/Vibration, Static Load Analysis (IP System, Display, Table PS, Hand Rest, Map Pocket, Storage), and Climate Cycle simulations.
- Build, mesh, and validate finite element models using ANSA/HyperMesh and Abaqus Standard.
- Perform implicit static, modal/frequency, and nonlinear analyses following established simulation methodologies.
- Develop and implement plastic material models, including true stress-strain conversion and *PLASTIC card preparation.
- Apply appropriate connection methodologies such as RBE2, RBE3, CBUSH, and snap-fit connections.
- Perform first-level post-processing, analyze simulation results, and prepare technical reports for Lead Engineer review.
- Maintain simulation documentation, checklists, and traceability of analysis activities.
- Collaborate with Lead Engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution.




- Participate in technical discussions and present simulation findings to internal stakeholders and OEM customers.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while adhering to quality standards and project timelines.
- Support customer-specific requirements and work effectively in a shift-based execution setting.

Preferred candidate profile
- B.E./B.Tech or M.Tech in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
- 46 years of experience in Automotive CAE with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in Structural Durability/NVH simulation of Instrument Panel (IP/Dashboard) and Plastic Trim components.
- Mandatory experience in Instrument Panel (IP/Dashboard) projects.
- Strong expertise in Abaqus Standard for Implicit Static, Modal/Frequency, and Nonlinear Analysis.
- Proficient in ANSA or HyperMesh (HM) for FE model building and meshing.
- Experience in plastic material modelling, including material characterization,
