Design Lead – NVH Engineer (Interior Insulation) Chennai, Pune · Full time · Hybrid

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Design Lead to support the design and development of automotive interior insulation components, ensuring quality, cost, and performance targets are achieved. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver products from concept through production. Success in this role means achieving timely project delivery and optimizing product design.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive interior insulation components and related NVH solutions.
- Create and modify 3D models and engineering data using CAD tools.




- Perform manufacturing and assembly feasibility studies.
- Conduct benchmarking and support design optimization activities.
- Coordinate with suppliers and support component fitment, validation, and vehicle build activities.
- Participate in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Support product development from concept through production.

Requirements
- Hold a B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical, Automobile, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Have 6–8 years of experience in automotive product design and development.
- Have experience in NVH/insulation components such as dash insulators, hood insulators, fender blockers, silencers, or similar parts.
- Possess a strong understanding of component and system-level design.
- Be proficient in UG NX, CATIA V5/V6, and PLM/Teamcenter tools.
- Have knowledge of manufacturing proces
