Qualifications:
• Bachelors in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field
• Masters in Project Management / MBA added advantage
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred

Experience:
• 12+ years in project management within Oil & Gas, Heavy Engineering, Shipbuilding, or Manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience handling large-scale engineering projects and cross-functional teams in rapid-paced environments.
- Hands on Experience on MSP or Primavera

Role Summary:
The Project Manager Heavy Engineering is responsible for end-to-end execution of shipyard heavy engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, cost, and quality standards. The role involves coordinating engineering, production, commercial, and support teams to manage schedules, resources, and materials while aligning project outcomes with shipyard business and client objectives.

Responsibility:
1) Plan and execute end-to-end projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget,



and as per quality & safety standards.
2) Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
3) Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets; identify cost risks and implement corrective actions.
4) Manage change orders by assessing impact, securing approvals, and maintaining documentation.
5) Act as primary client interface; provide regular updates and manage scope changes.
6) Ensure strict compliance with Quality, HSE, and environmental standards through audits and inspections.
7) Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the lifecycle.
8) Ensure compliance with applicable maritime, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
9) Maintain accurate project documentation and provide periodic reports to management.
