Key Responsibilities
- Implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance adherence within the organization
- Monitor processes to ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, local laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Establish compliance standards across the payment ecosystem
- Ensure compliance programs are effective and efficient
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct regular compliance assessments to identify risks arising from non-compliance
- Recommend process improvements and corrective actions




- Monitor and analyze deficiencies and irregularities from a compliance perspective and provide effective solutions
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to improve compliance adherence
- Drive and promote a compliance culture across the payment ecosystem
- Provide updates and publish compliance reports covering status, key issues, and violations to senior management
- Provide inputs for revision of Policy / SOP / PG based on current business requirements
- Participate in reviews and share updates on non-compliance
- Investigate and act on compliance-related matters as per policy
- Ensure breaches and incidents are properly monitored, managed, documented, and reported
- Take enforcement action against non-compliant entities identified through surveillance or internal reporting
- Proactively identify potential red flags and mitigate risks before escalation
- Engage with ecosystem participants and bring in best practices in compliance
