Evaratus (formerly Scaler AI Labs) partners with frontier AI labs on training environments, human data, and model evaluations. We are a 200-plus person team with operations headquartered in Bengaluru, growing quick, with revenue scaling to match.
The role

You will be our first Head of Finance, owning the finance function end to end: monthly close, controllership, cash and treasury, project profitability, payroll oversight, statutory compliance, and board-ready reporting. This is a hands-on role. You will build the function yourself before you build a team.
What you will own
- Accurate and fast monthly close, P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Project and client-level profitability analysis that drives pricing and staffing decisions
- Cash management, banking, and working-capital planning
- Statutory compliance across GST, TDS,



transfer pricing, and audits, working with external advisors
- Payroll and vendor payment oversight
- Finance systems and controls that scale with the business
What we are looking for
- 4 or more years of hands-on controllership: you own the books yourself, not through a large team
- Experience at or supporting a business at USD 100M+ revenue scale
- Time at the India arm of a US-headquartered company with a substantial India presence
- Real exposure to project or engagement-level profitability analysis
- Big Four background (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG), articleship or audit years included
- CA preferred
