About Us: The BB Journal is a growing media platform spotlighting women in business, corporate, law, and media through original articles, founder interviews and community-driven content. We’re currently also preparing our first-ever print edition magazine and building out our social media presence to match.
Social Media Intern Role Overview: We’re looking for someone to manage and grow our Instagram presence, from content design to posting consistency to community engagement. (check out our Instagram @thebbjournal for more clarity on this)
Responsibilities:
- Design social media posts and carousels using Canva, in line with our established brand guidelines (fonts, colors, visual style)
- Schedule and publish content on Instagram consistently
- Monitor and respond to comments and DMs in a timely, on-brand manner
- Manage inbound submissions on instagram
- Track basic engagement metrics and report on what’s performing well
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in college (preferably 1st or 2nd year)
- Working knowledge of Canva and Instagram (posting, Stories, basic engagement features)
- Solid written communication skills
- Reliable and consistent — able to commit to a regular weekly schedule
- No prior professional experience required
Time Commitment: Approximately 1-2 hours per day, flexible scheduling, fully remote (online)
Compensation:
- First Month: Unpaid (training/trial period)
- Second Month & onwards: ₹2,000/month or more depending on the additional responsibilities taken
