Role Description
The Legal Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata.



The intern will assist attorneys with legal research on intellectual property, corporate, and international trade laws, and help prepare case notes and internal memoranda. Daily responsibilities include supporting legal document drafting and filing related to patent, trademark, copyright, design, service mark, and geographical indication registrations. The intern will help organize case files, review documents for accuracy and compliance, and maintain records in line with firm procedures. The role may also involve coordinating with clients and internal teams for information collection, attending meetings or hearings under supervision, and contributing to knowledge databases and updates on relevant legal developments.

Qualifications
- Robust foundation in Law, with a particular interest in Intellectual Property, Corporate Laws, and International Trade Related Laws.
