Role Responsibilities
- Experience on building and configuring Magento 2x eCommerce store
- Work on Magento 2.x themes and extension development project
- Work on Magento 2.x customization project according to client's requirements
- Regularly update Magento installation and security patches
- Work includes coding, handling support-requests and project documentation
- Develop and implement IT standards and procedures to aid in the development of high quality software.
Ensure that all Engineers within the team understand and follow existing IT standards
- Communicate with clients, understand the project requirements handle the project work directly with client
- Manage the projects and work as per schedule to strictly follow deadlines
- Lead and work in a team environment
- Explain and guide the flow of product/project to clients and handle queries and technical issues of customers
- Actively contribute to the process of continual improvement of process, team and self
Required Skills
- Must have knowledge of Magento architecture, coding standards, theme hierarchy, extension structure and latest updates of Magento releases
- Experience with complete eCommerce lifecycle development
- Demonstrable knowledge of XML, XHTML, CSS, Modules i.e. API integration, Payment Gateways, XML with a focus on standards
- Excellent coding and debugging skills in Magento
- Expertise with MySQL and Database optimization
