- Food Distribution: Hand-pack and deliver nutritious meals and dry rations to the elderly, children, and low-income families across designated villages. [1]
- Village Outreach: Build trust and rapport with village residents, identify those in need, and assess community requirements for future aid. [1]
- Logistics & Coordination: Coordinate with the central kitchen or supply point to ensure food is picked up and distributed on time and in hygienic conditions. [1]
- Record Keeping: Maintain a basic, accurate log of daily food distribution (e.g., number of meals provided, areas covered, and recipient feedback). [1, 2, 3]
- Community Engagement:



Listen to the concerns and basic problems of the villagers and communicate these effectively back to the NGO or trust management. [1, 2, 3]

Requirements
- Language: Fluent in spoken Tamil is mandatory; familiarity with local Chengalpattu village routes is highly preferred.
- Transport: Must have a two-wheeler or the ability to easily commute between rural village locations.
- Soft Skills: A compassionate, empathetic, and respectful approach toward rural communities and the elderly.
- Experience: Freshers or experienced individuals with a background in NGOs, social work, or community volunteering.
