Role Description
This full-time, in office Sourdough Bread Chef role is based in Bengaluru at one of AA Hospitality’s restaurant locations. The Sourdough Bread Chef will oversee the daily preparation, mixing, fermenting, shaping, and baking of high-quality sourdough bread and related baked products. Responsibilities include managing sourdough starters, maintaining consistent product standards, monitoring oven operations and baking schedules,



and ensuring proper storage of ingredients and finished goods. The role also involves collaborating with the culinary team on new bread recipes and seasonal offerings, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations, and minimizing waste through efficient production planning. The chef will help train junior team members, maintain a clean and organized bakery workspace, and support overall kitchen operations as needed.

Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with sourdough bread production, including starter maintenance, dough handling, fermentation control, and baking.
- Knowledge of artisan bread techniques, bakery equipment operation (mixers, proofers, ovens), and basic pastry or bakery skills.
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation standards, and kitchen hygiene practices in a professional culinary environment.
