Role Description
The Polarion ALM Developer / Administrator at OPmobility is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves configuring, customizing, and maintaining Polarion ALM projects, workflows, templates, and permissions to support engineering and product development teams. The person in this position will develop and optimize work item types, dashboards, reports, and traceability structures to ensure effective requirements, test, and change management. Day-to-day responsibilities include integrating Polarion with other enterprise tools, troubleshooting system issues, managing upgrades and patches, and ensuring data integrity and performance. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, providing user training and documentation, and continuously improving ALM processes and tool usage.

Qualifications
- Strong experience with Polarion ALM administration, including project setup, workflow configuration, permission management, and template customization.
- Skills in scripting or programming (e.g., Java,



JavaScript, APIs) for Polarion extensions, automation, and tool integrations.
- Background in Application Lifecycle Management, requirements management, test management, and change control processes.
- Experience integrating Polarion with other engineering or enterprise tools (e.g., PLM, issue trackers, CI/CD platforms) and managing data migration.
- Proficiency in database and server administration fundamentals, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Ability to analyze user needs, translate them into technical configurations, and create clear documentation and training materials.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with engineering, quality, and IT teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field; experience in automotive or manufacturing domains is an advantage.
