Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and support their needs.
- Assist in the audit process and address audit queries.
- Process monthly payroll, ensure accurate salary calculations, reimbursements, incentives, and statutory deductions.
- Coordinate with HR for attendance, leave records, employee perks, and payroll-related documentation.
- Ensure timely payment of salaries and compliance with PF, ESI, PT, TDS, and other payroll statutory requirements.
- Prepare payroll reports and maintain employee payroll records confidentially.
- Stay updated with financial regulations,
payroll compliance, and best practices.
- Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce (B.Com or M.Com).
- 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Experience in a digital marketing company would be a plus
