Manpower Planning & Recruitment:
- Maintain oversight on human resource management activities such as recruitment and selection, performance management, learning & development, exit management, employee grievance management, payroll and rewards and employee engagement. Ensure complete compliance to laid out policies and procedures for personnel at unit.
- Oversee the creation and execution of manpower recruitment plan based on the human resource strategy plan in order to ensure the availability of critical skills and continuous production
- Devise a framework for prioritizing critical positions for manpower recruitment and ensure timely supply of manpower to various departments as per requirement
- Devise strategies for attracting, sourcing, screening and selecting manpower from multiple channels, and collaborate with external agencies such as consultants, training institutes etc. to ensure availability of sufficient talent pool for selection
- Responsible for identifying opportunities for improving the effectiveness,
governance and efficiency of the manpower recruitment and selection process.
- Shop Floor Management
Industrial Relations:
- Conceptualize and oversee the execution of human resource engagement and their welfare initiatives on both shop floor as well as in colonies and hostels Ensure that all on-campus welfare & health perks provided to human capital are as per policy and guidelines.
- Oversee the timely resolution of employee's grievances across shop floor as well as colonies & hostels and provide periodic mentorship and guidance to IR personnel and line managers for understanding and responding to grievances. In case of complex matters and escalations, play a key role in amicably resolving disputes, complaints and other grievances
- Oversee the maintenance of discipline and decorum on the shop floor as per internal policies and standing orders. In the case of misconduct and other disciplinary issues ensure the due process as per internal policies
