The BOM Analyst will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality and accurate BOMs, and will actively work on process optimization and improvement initiatives to ensure effective resource utilization and maximum system efficiency. This role directly contributes to streamlined manufacturing, cost control, and the delivery of high-quality products.
Bachelors or Masters degree in an engineering discipline, supply chain management or business administration, is preferred.
Experience: Typically 2-5+ years of experience in BOM management, inventory management, or a related data field, particularly within the automotive industry.
Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in PLM and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Windchill) is crucial. Familiarity with data analysis tools like Microsoft Excel, Business Objects, and Access is also beneficial.
Analytical Abilities: Excellent attention to detail, robust analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and complex data.
Communication and Collaboration:
Strong communication and collaboration skills are required to interact effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
Other: Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials, experience with change management processes, and a proactive, results-driven mindset are highly valued.
