Role Description
The Junior Social Media Specialist is a full-time remote role responsible for supporting the planning, creation, and publishing of content across social media platforms. This role involves drafting posts, assisting with visual asset coordination, and tailoring content to different channels and audiences. The specialist monitors social media activity, engages with followers, and flags opportunities to increase reach and engagement. Day-to-day tasks include tracking basic performance metrics, collaborating with marketing and digital teams,



and helping implement social media campaigns aligned with overall brand and marketing goals. The role also requires staying informed about social media trends, platform updates, and best practices to support ongoing improvement.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Digital Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 0–2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X.
- Basic understanding of SEO, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content strategy.
- Familiarity with paid advertising platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Experience with social media scheduling and management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar).
- Basic knowledge of Goo
