TM1 Business Analyst (FP&A; / Financial Planning)

Job Summary

We are looking for a
TM1 Business Analyst
with experience in
FP&A;, financial planning, reporting, and IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)
. The candidate will work as a liaison between Finance teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements, improve processes, and deliver effective TM1-based planning and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements for FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting initiatives.
- Translate finance requirements into functional specifications for TM1 solutions.
- Work with TM1 developers to design, enhance, and validate planning models, reports, and workflows.
- Perform data analysis, reconciliation, testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support TM1 implementations, enhancements, and production issues.
- Create business documentation, process flows, and user guides.
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, and project teams using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.




- Support financial reporting and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience as a
Business Analyst in Finance Systems / FP&A; / EPM
.
- Hands-on experience with
IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)
.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and finance processes.
- Experience gathering requirements and working with business stakeholders.
- Knowledge of TM1 cubes, dimensions, reporting, and data validation.
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall project delivery.
- Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with
Oracle Fusion Financials / ERP systems
.
- Knowledge of General Ledger (GL), chart of accounts, and financial reporting.
- Experience with Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAfE).
- SQL and data integration knowledge is a plus.
