The Application Testing Engineer is responsible for validating the installation, functionality, compatibility, and stability of Honeywell Experion and BMA applications across multiple versions and environments. This role supports test setting setup, functional and regression testing, patch and security validation, release testing, and defect troubleshooting to ensure reliable application performance.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures for industrial automation applications.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate PLC, HMI, SCADA, MES, and Industrial IoT applications against specifications.
- Analyze customer requirements and derive test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.




- Collaborate with software developers, automation engineers, and system integrators to resolve issues.
- Conduct communication testing for industrial protocols such as:
- OPC UA
- Modbus TCP/RTU
- Ethernet/IP
- Profinet
- MQTT
- Verify data flow between field devices, controllers, and enterprise applications.
- Perform performance, reliability, and cybersecurity validation of automation systems.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and commissioning activities.
- Create and maintain test reports, validation documents, and traceability matrices.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
