Fashion Entrepreneur Fund (FEF) is India’s first fashion venture studio dedicated to investing in
and building fashion brands and businesses. FEF combines investment with strategic
incubation, mentorship, operational support, and industry access to help fashion entrepreneurs
scale innovative and sustainable ventures across India and global markets.
About the role
This is a generalist investment role suited to someone early in their career who wants meaningful exposure across the full investment lifecycle - from sourcing through to portfolio management. You will work directly with the investment team on live deals and portfolio companies from the outset.
Responsibilities
- *Deal sourcing:*
Identify and evaluate investment opportunities through outbound research, founder and investor networks, industry events, and ongoing market monitoring across fashion and lifestyle sub-sectors.
- *Due diligence:*
Conduct in-depth research on target companies - analysing financials, assessing market size and competitive dynamics, and evaluating founding team capability.
- *Investment execution:*
Prepare financial models and investment memos for presentation to the investment committee. Over time, take increasing ownership of deals end-to-end.
- *Portfolio management:*
Work closely with portfolio founders to provide strategic support and track progress against key operational and financial metrics.
- *Sector research:*
Stay current on trends, innovations, and capital flows in fashion and lifestyle. Contribute to thought leadership through written pieces and participation in industry events.
- *Reporting:*
Prepare regular updates for senior management and investors on portfolio performance and overall fund strategy.
You'd be a good fit if you have
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- 0–1 years of experience; prior exposure to investment banking, consulting, VC, or financial services is preferred
