Your place in the team
As a Senior BI Analytics Developer your role will be to assist in the planning, design, development, testing and implementation of complex analytics solutions including reports, visualizations, dashboards, database(s) for various domains as well as the support and maintenance of existing solutions.
Responsibilities
- To design, implement, maintain, support, and enhance the business intelligence solutions
- Understand and be confident working with data modelling and BI solutions ensuring best practices are always followed
- Querying, extracting and quality assuring data from source systems
- Collaborate and work with other teams and end users to ensure that data and reports meet their business needs
- Design and monitor end-user reporting tools and systems, ensuring reports are accurate and up to date.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
Essential Experience
- Experience working with data warehouses, data modelling techniques, security
- Experience working on extensive data modelling creating OLAP cubes (SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services) and Tabular models)
- Experience with Azure Technologies especially Azure Analysis Services creating tabular models and writing complex DAX queries
- Previous experience of working within Cloud Services, specifically within Azure setting including SQL Databases and Power BI Services
- Experience using SQL for wide range of data solutions
- Experience with ETL (Extracting, Transforming and Loading) tools
