About the Role

We are a small, fast-moving team building products that actually get used - not just launched and forgotten. We care about clean design, smooth interactions, and solid engineering under the hood.

We are looking for an Android Developer to help build the BabyBillion app from the ground up. Someone who knows Compose like a friend, writes Kotlin like it is second nature, and is curious about what Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) can really do.

What You Will Do

Build the BabyBillion App
- Own features from idea to release - design, code, test, ship.
- Write clean, scalable Kotlin code using Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Up-to-date Android Architecture (MVVM/MVI/Clean).
- Build core app experiences - content discovery, watch experience, onboarding, engagement loops, and more.
- Optimize for performance, battery life, and buttery-smooth UI on a wide range of Android devices, including low-end phones in tier 2/3 India.
- Integrate APIs, manage state elegantly, and make the UX shine.

Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
- Share business logic between Android and iOS with Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Collaborate on common modules (networking, models, utils).
- Help shape how KMP fits into our mobile architecture going forward.

Work Hand-in-Hand with Design
- Bring Figma designs to life - pixel-perfect, responsive, accessible.
