WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
SimCorp provides high-quality risk analysis through our Axioma suite of products, which ingests custodian portfolios and positions from multiple data sources. This role will help integrate additional third-party partners into our data systems and expand our product's reach to new customers. Alongside solid technical and coding skills,
the right candidate will collaborate effectively with business partners across the organization to understand the rules required to integrate data and translate them into working code. You will help shape what we deliver to current and future clients.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Develop, maintain, and enhance ETL processes that load custodian data — arriving in a variety of formats — into our client's portfolio management and risk platform, using technologies including Python, Kafka, and Docker.
- Interact with subject matter experts and develop understanding of various financial instruments
- Collaborate with QA on design and implementation of manual and automated test processes
- Seek opportunities to improve quality and efficiency from ideation to deployment
- Follow Agile development processes, coding standards, and methodologies
